We also braced the trusses more than usual
We had to brace like mad, We built it in November, and had 160kph 100mph winds
The original concrete foundation had mostly been powderized by the fire, we built a pole barn, and saved what foundation we could for retaining walls

the brook we pumped out of was barely 200 gal/min that we needed for pumping. We came back 2 days later to hit hot spots with a new pump
The important part is we saved him and the house, sadly his 99 year old barn burned with his dads saddle in it
