‘75 Fullvert Blazer- K5 Cody’s build- 8.1 swap***32 days to C10’s in the Park***

Restomod build for a late friend
Was busy yesterday but snuck out late to finish up the fuel lines. Going to try out these hard line compression fittings. GM to 6AN.

I just used a couple of them to join mY GM power steering pump to hydraulic hoses for my full hydraulic steering system. I hope they work…

It’s crazy hot and humid here. Temps let up a little the end of this week so I’ll be back out in the shop more.

I did get to nerd out a little bit last night. Grabbed a factory GM sticker for under the hood. I also have another sticker coming, but my confidence that it is correct is not very high lol

I’m tired of this heat. Went out to the shop for a small amount of time this evening.

I found out that a factory LS pulley fits perfectly for this situation. Got a brand new Dorman one for $27 at the O.

Pulley on and lines up great. Fan and fan shroud back on for the last time hopefully.

We have storms tonight that are supposed to bring a minimal cold front, but it’s something nonetheless. I plan to get after starting tomorrow.

Made a lot more progress today. Temps were in the mid 80’s and a nice breeze. Made shop time more enjoyable.

Worked on more odds and ends. Plugs, wires, oil psi hard line, wiring secured, fuel pump wiring ran, and some other small stuff.

Here’s the list for firing it up:
• Install and wire up starter
• Plumb in the fuel pump and filter
• Oil and filter
• TC bolts
• Vacuum for trans modulator

Getting super close. I’m very pleased with how well everything is coming together.
