Ended up running a total of 1.5” worth of aluminum spacers under the mod’d factory gmt800 throttle bracket. Then ran a stock DBC accelerator cable. It fit perfectly to the throttle body and the pedal.



Here you can see the butterfly opening. The pedal stops a few inches above the floor board.

Put the engine cover mount and trimmed up the cover tonight. Fits really nice. About an 1/8” space between the cover and the cable mount.

I feel like it cleans up the engine bay as well as adds a little extra modern engine look to it. Yes, plastic, but still modern…..right lol

Also, not everyone is going to know exactly what that is, so the cover with the badge helps.

It’s been +100° for 2 weeks now so haven’t been doing as much. Did get the vacuum figured out for the trans and brakes then final install of the intake. Today is the last day of this heat wave, so I plan to hit it again moving forward.

Drilled and tapped the EGR block off plate and used this vacuum fitting that came off the back of the medium duty intake. Then just a standard 90° 3/8 npt hose barb.
