The heat has been kicking my butt at work, so not a lot of progress lately. So last night I decided to work on the rear brakes as the sun set and it was slightly cooler. While taking off the rear tires my son asked how high the jack went, so I decided to do a little flex test. I forgot how horrible the articulation is on these with a sway bar on it. This was as high as I could go before the other rear tire started to lift lol.

Just throw that sway bar away. I don't bother running them but I drive like an old farmer.

So I completely forgot that I have most of a serpentine setup for a small block 350 sitting in my basement. Does anyone have a picture of a factory setup so I can see what I still need? Preferably one with AC as I have everything for AC on this truck.

I've used '88-'92 Camaro setups a couple times. The alternator and ac compressor are on the opposite sides. They are different from the '88-'91 R/V series trucks, which I think are also different from the C/K trucks of the same time period.

I can’t find it now. Might have given it all away when I sold the 350 out of the Jimmy.

Clearing the driveway last night for a 4th party this weekend. Can’t wait to drive this thing more and actually use it. Hooking up to a trailer got me excited.

They look really good on those skinny steelies. Had you ever determined what lift this has? It looks like it sits quite a bit higher than mine, which is stock height on rallies with 33x12.50 15s.

It’s a 2.5” lift. Rear blocks measured to 2.5”.

When are you doing the white two tone?

Working on swapping the cracked radiator tonight. Found out the Jimmy radiator is 2” taller, so my cheap fix won’t work. Trying to figure out if I want to just buy a new factory radiator, or buy the upper mount and run the HD set up with the taller radiator.
