‘89 K5 Silverado Rescue

Picked this girl up Sunday way out on the other side of the valley. Topped off the water and p.s. fluid and a fresh battery. Drove it home roadkill style with no issues other than old hard tires and a massive exhaust leak. Check engine light was on but seemed to run good enough for the trip.

Had some time today to poke at it a little bit.
Cleaned up a bit of wiring and replaced a blown and missing fuse. Found the map sensor hose was broken and spliced wit another hose that had popped loose. Fixed that and the check engine light stayed off.
Exhaust manifold is broken so that needs to get replaced. I did manage to get the bolts out without any breaking thankfully!

Got the passenger exhaust manifold replaced and busted vacuum lines fixed.
No more exhaust leaks and no more check engine light. Runs frikin great. Not as good as the BRB, but damn good as a tbi blazer should. Matt says he thinks he has an oem air cleaner setup from another swap he did so that’s sweet.
