“Best” years to look for?

We have no smog test in New Hampshire, in fact we just killed our state inspection law, like the state motto says “Live Free Or Die” BUT I promised myself that I wouldn’t get project creep and go down that road again after the last two cars so I’m trying to behave and sticking with a nice running stockish clean older rig to just mall cruise.

Maybe once I sell all those 455 engine build parts though……

I am guessing Pontiac 455? From the GTO.
Too bad it's not Oldsmobile, I could use one.
I could possibly use something for my 67 400 Pontiac in my firebird.
My heads are bad.

I have a few sets of heads but they are super expensive to ship unfortunately. If you’re looking for cast Pontiac heads they’re a dime a dozen now and cheap money since aluminum heads are plentiful.

Yeah I just did a quick search last night and saw a big drop in prices
