Hey all,

I have an '00 Suburban and am towing a car trailer on which I have mounted a very heavy smoker (for Competition smoking). The problem is the toungue weight is big for my CK1500 burb. I found out last week that I have no leaves only springs in back. Does anyone make a helper spring or those air bags that go inside the rear springs to help level out the load? I have the towing package from the factory without any mods. Suggestions???

Thanks, Arroyoman

The Moog chassis folks used to sell aftermarket replacement coils in various weight ratings. A call to an auto parts store might turn up something useful.

Smoker

I think the toung weight is about 700# the whole smoker is about 2000# but all of the other stuff I cary is another 2000#. This all on a car trailer 18X7 rated for 7000# tandem axle.
