I wouldn't mind getting me a full size pickup this year but will see!I have another baby due in late Sept but we have all are cars paid for which is nice. My little 95 civic is getting tight and wife hates riding in it. So might sell cause people want it :D if $ is right. So my question is which extended cab has the most room seems to me the 03-07 seems to be biggest out of them from looks. I need leg room on my side wife is ok with being more forward then me. Also will have 2 kids 1 in actual car seat for babies and other is big enough for booster seat with back on it being 43 tall and 45 lbs. So any help here?

When I went to buy my new crew cab in 00' there was the new 00' body style or maybe it was an 01' I don't remember, but you could clearly see the interior space difference in the old vs the new. The "old" body style has so much more room in the cab. Between the two I bought the old body style and was stoked with it.

The extended cabs get tight when using a baby seat is my understanding. I would try to test fit the baby seat before you commit unless you can find a crew cab

with the needs of getting in/out of the back a lot just go full crew cab .

once you go crew cab you wont wana go back . :thumb:

and when you want in the back seat you just open the back doors !!!!

I have an 02 extended cab. Its real annoying getting the baby in and out with how the rear doors open. Specifically when you park in an open parking lot then some Ahole parks way to close and you can't open the doors all the way. I would suggest getting a crew cab.

Yeah we sold our super nice 98 Z7I and bought a 02 crew cab after we had our twins, way easier to deal with car seats in the crew cab.

I'm going to continue to echo the extended cab pain in the ass factor. It's great for two people, functions for three and sucks for more.

Baby seat in middle is the only way to not have the front seats too far forward, which then makes the baby seat hard to deal with. Younger kids that should be in the back seat can't get out without having to open the front door, this is a huge pain when you start dropping them off for school.

I loved my Extended cab right until I had two kids with one of them going to school. Now it's just a nuisance that I can't wait to get rid of and go crew cab.

I have an 07 new body style extended cab and an 02 crew cab. The extended is so tight on space with anybody in the back, for everyone. The crew cab has all the room in the world. I will never buy another extended.
