I would have thought it would have been ok with no balancer. Probably has to do with angles and the aluminum driveshaft(assuming that's what you have).

Yeah its a one piece aluminum shaft, spicer non releasable u joints, and its got a 2 inch block for lift.

My buddy had a Chevy once with that aluminum shaft that had a really odd squeak at slow speeds driving. Sounded exactly like a squeaky poly bushing. Took us forever checking things til he finally pulled the driveshaft and found the u-joint was starting to bad and the shaft would amplify the sound.
