'02 Sub tire size?

I'm about to need new meats on the wifes DD '02 4x4 Sub. Has anyone tried to fit 285's on this body style without cranking up the torsion bars (00-current)? So far I've been looking at the BFG all-terrains, Nitto terra graplers, and the Dick Cepek FC II. The BFG's are ok but I havent heard good or bad about the second 2.

i did a 1/2 ton ext cab pickup. needed 3" body to clear them . still needed to trim corner of bumper valence.
