buffblazer
1/2 ton status
Up for sale is my 03 chevy 1500,
Admiral blue, just under 100k miles, short bed single cab LS 2wd.
Has black interior with leather seats, steering wheel controls, pw,pl, cruise, dual air, rear window and side mirror defrost. Compass and temp in auto dimming mirror. CD player with tape deck, was replaced at 55k with new GM unit.
New windshield, new tires less than 10k on them, BFgoodrich long trail T/A
245/75/16 with alum rims and 4 wheel disk brakes with the rotors and pads in great shape.
Transmission just flushed for the 3rd time in its life, had BG trans additive put in. never had a problem with it, only hauled one trailer with it. bed mat, very few scratches on the bed, hardly ever hauled anything.
4.8L V8 Motor is flawless i have never had any problems with it. always use mobile 1 synthetic in it with BG MOA engine cleaner.
every third tank gets a can of BG fuel treatment and injector cleaner.
This is my daily driver, bought it to go back and forth 70 miles to work and it averages 22 with these tires on it. Was never worked hard.
problems.
The front emblem is cracked from rocks and there is a rock chip on the hood right where it meets the grille.
a key scratch along the bottom of the tail gate, just went clear coat deep.
right behind the tool box going toward the tailgate, on both sides there is knee impressions from when my brother and dad were trying to get something out of the center of the bed and put all their weight on it. not very noticable.
when you start it, you need to turn the key on for 3 secs to let the fuel pump prime, if you dont on the first crank it will sputter, then on the second crank it fires right up.
i belive the fuel pump isnt holding pressure (that was also what a shop said) if i have a serious buyer, i will buy the pump and install it for them.
ok for sale to the brothers first then craigslist. im needing $9,000 to pay it off. so if ya have any questions let me know.
