03 Hd Wheels

I have a set of aluminum factory wheels off of my 03 Duramax. They are 8 lug. I am looking to put a 14 bolf ff and 8 lug calipers on my dana 44. I was told the lug pattern was the same. What about backspacing? Will they work? The whee is only 6.5 inch wide though. Can I mount say a 38x13 TSL on them? I have heard some say the narrower the wheel the less like to break a bead when aired down. Is this too narrow? What about on road driving, I only drive it to and from the trail but is it going to be OK to do. Thanks

The centers will probably have to be bored out to fit over the 14ff hubs. Maybe not the d44, but def still have to be bored out for the rear. And, are probably too narrow for a 13" wide tire. But I have seee 39-44 inch tires on hummer rims (~7 inches wide), so I guess it's personal preference.

Maybe not bored out. I was thinking of the H2 wheels. Might just bolt up.
