Working on or say will be a 2004 1500 Z71 truck Monday that customer states 4wd low does not work since my work installed a used transmission. I tend to get problem cars to fix 
, they want me to price out used transfer case right off. Truck has 161k on it auto etc.... Anything to look for right off the bat? I know push button switches where know, decoder module. But how does removing a transfer case to replace transmission make it not work in low any more? Any help or advice would be good. Will start with basics tomorrow and test it out for normal operation first and go from there.
