Ok you got me confused you said they had to grind the upper control arm to clear the tire but on a ifs truck the control arm moves with the spindle so it should never get any close to each other than they are at ride height.

Wow Beast, looking good What's up with the pleasure bend on the lower part of your grill guard?

I was nose-to-nose with a truck that was dug into the sand.
I told him I'd pull him outta the rut.

I was in my truck, I asked him,"did you hook upto the tow hook."
He said, "yes."

Apparently I wasn't clear enough.... Last time I let someone else hook up to me.

They ride great!

You have to let them break in a bit before you pass judgement,
I run the Bilstein's in the tundra and the blazer.
Both trucks rode stiff for a couple days, then settled in.

Fwiw, both trucks have 6" lifts, and are a bit "bouncy".
Could have a lot to do with the lift, tho.

Aweseme...my k5 hs 4" ez rides and 56" springs on a flip out back with 12" 5125's. Just read your sig and this is pretty close to your set-up so i m pretty excited. Thanks man.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not talkin' smack but-
Other than the grinding & coating, The only thing I don't like is the rear blocks. Anytime a block is taller than it is wide,it just looks unstable to me.

IMHO-If I was spending a lot of money on a lift I would buy bigger springs and ditch the blocks.

IMHO-If I was spending a lot of money on a lift I would buy bigger springs and ditch the blocks.

I'm pretty sure I mentioned doing that...
If I didn't, then I meant to.


I'm gonna get the Alcott 6" lift spring's.
There's a guy on Tundra Solution's that run's 'em.
He say's they ride, and flex, nice..... They look nice, too.

Finally installing Veronica's train horns.
Got the tank, compressor, and gauge hooked up.

Air Tank for Veronica's train horns.....
*it's just so tiny... But, the Viair 400c compressor refills it FAST!

OBA kill-switch, Hella switch, Air supply gauge...
*mounted in the "catch-all", under the ash tray.

Tomoro, I'll hook up the horns, and wire the electrical.
I also have to find a way to strap down the air lines.

I hooked my Garage compressor up to the horns.
Blasted 'em @ 150psi, which is what they'll run at.... HO-LY-GAWD!

3 of my neighbors came out to, "See what the HELL was going on!"

i have the same tank for my viair oba.. i had no idea what size it was since i bought it all used.. its mainly gonna be used for airing tires up maybe i should get a bigger one.. i cant remember what compressor i have off hand but i think im gonna tie the viair and my arb compressor together to fill faster.. since they will be both under the hood..

The Tundra's compressor is a ViAir 400c....

You definitely want a bigger tank for filling tires.
That's why we're getting an 8-10g.... Preferably a 10g.

Just think about the volume of the tire, vs. tank volume + Compressor duty cycle....

sadly... theres not that much room in the 4runner for this tank as is.. hah..
