have an '05 Honda CRF 50 that I haven't ridden in a while. Figured I would post it up and see if anyone is looking for a good starter bike for their kid.

Bought this brand new at Andrews in Salem... Have only ridden it maybe a dozen times in my friends backyard. The bike has been babied and is in excellent shape!

I added on:

Applied Racing red anodized upper clamp(MX style)
Applied Racing black handlebars(7/8" no cross bar like model.. and new grips)
Applied Racing throttle/cable
Applied Racing front fork springs(for adult rider.. Still have stock springs)
Applied Racing rear shock spring(for adult rider.. Still have stock spring)
One Industries tall seat
new front brake cable
Uni air filter

Like I said the bike has been used very little and is in great shape!

SOLD

Nice ride, I was wondering why I see so many of these things set for adult riders?

What do you guys do with these , pit bikes ?, or play race with your buds on your own little tracks.

Looked on the scam-bay for a CRF50 and like 90% are built up for 180 lb riders?

Thanks, Jeff

I bet it would be fun to drink a little beer and get loose with some friends in the backyard..LOL..

Yes, we used these for backyard racing! They are a ton of fun!!

Quit bringing this to the top you’re killing me, you have no idea how bad I want this thing. :doah: :haha: If only I was headed up that way I’d take it off you’re hands.

LOL.. I may have a way to get it down to Houston.

 You’re really killing me now. My buddy has the same bike we carry around with us when we take the quads out to our local spot. Funny thing is I always end up leaving my Grizzly behind to ride the almighty fiddy all night…God you wouldn’t think a person could hurt themselves so bad on such a little bike.:haha:

If getting it down here really is an option I’m very interested. I’ve been looking for a used one for a while because I just can’t justify the cost of a new one plus the mods that make it fun.

Just let me know.
