you gonna run a 5.3, 6.0 or 8.1??
find yourself a 4wd 4l80e setup, and leave the NP241 or whatever behind. next find a round pattern np205 and it "should" bolt on the back of the 4l80e.
Besides the harness and computer rework, and plumbing the fuel/return and cooling, and exhaust systems..
You will need to fab or buy adapter motor mount plates to bolt/weld to the clamshells.. and the engine crossmember will probably be in the way of the oil pan, so youll need to fab or buy a crossmember as well.
i have some headers i've modified to work on a 2nd gen chevy truck with an lsx engine swap also.
