My dads 05 Z71 Suburban's washer fluid pump doesn't work. Anoyone have suggestions or tips for what to look for? And if anyone has a wiring diagram of this part could you email it to: neworder18 at hotmail.com

Much appreciated.:thumb:

Could be the pumps are shot they are located on the fluid container. I'm sure if you unplug the connector to the pump(s) and stick a test light on them you could find out if that's the case.:waytogo: I think if you go beneath the burb and look up you can see them.

I think it's the pump, but I want to make sure of the wiring too, as the pumps don't make any noise of any kind.

The pumps are located behind the inner fender on the bottom of the tank. should be able to test with a test light while somebody holds the switch.

Shouldnt' need a wiring diagram, its 2 power wires. Find the pump, hook to known 12 volt source, if it spins, you have other problems. Also, hook test light to wiring, and make sure it is getting power.

These things just crap out. Really, i'd order one before i even tore into it. Last i remember it was a bitch to get to....but it might have been on the 96 model.

Is it possible they'll start working intermittently? We changed the wipers and the washer started working again. Flat spot on the washer pump motor?
