I think it's odd that a PO678 code (cylinder 8 Glow Plug circuit/open) would make my Dad's truck smoke excessively. Plus, since the CEL is on, it won't pass.
(I don't know why he even took it in, no one will pass a car with the CEL on
)
Anyway, got 5 days to figure it out and retest without paying again. I've never touched a diesel before, not sure where to start other than looking for a glow plug wire
