06 silverado seats into 78 k10 HELP.

Im wanting to put the front seats from an 06 Silverado into my 78 k10. The trouble I'm having is the floor pan in the k10 does not work with brackets on the new seats. Any suggestions please.

I was told these seats are a pain to deal install. Any suggestions on bucket seat that bolt into the 78 K10. I'm trying to keep away from cutting or altering the floor.

Not much help but I pulled my stock center console in my '83 K5 and installed one of those center jump seats you have there. I just drilled holes and bolted it in with 3/8" bolts and fender washers.

I'm not to worried about the center seat, the trouble is with the driver and passenger. The big problem is the saddle fuel tanks that sit right under both. I'm gonna be doing a motor swap 350 to 5.3, I'll be putting a blazer tank in the rear. I didn't know these seats would be such a pain.
