VA #0713 '76 Blazer Chalet (Apr 16, 2026 update - new seller / new state location)

Sent in a direct email inquiry to the consignment seller's dealership email addy suggesting he put in one more photo of the serial number plate by the back door. He has rather hi-res photos of the back, so I can almost make out the number being in the low 700s. Camper stripes appear to be repainted rather than "all original", with an extra blue pinstripe around the perimeter. Too back about all the Michigan rust, though .......

Seller added the photo of the serial number plate to his auction listing, it is #0713. He also sent me a photo of the trailer which wasn't listed with this rig that was painted with stripes to match. On top of that, it turns out the widower of the longtime owner also has an orphaned Chalet camper unit that her late husband had somewhat recently taken off the original Blazer. Stay tuned here to see if I'm able to get any new consignment seller links for these ...

2026 Update: Back on Feb 5, our CK5 man EddieExpedition put in an alert for this one in the Chalet Tracking thread, noting it was already labeled as sold for $6500, but then it popped up again for sale on eBay between Feb 15 and Feb 19, strangely listed in a pair of eBay Buy-it-Now listings for $14,000 and also for $12,000 "or best offer" in each listing. Both of those eBay listings are still working tonight, but probably not for long afterward (it's why I get screengrabs of the listing to preserve for paper printouts). I tried to alert that Michigan seller about the above-noted matching paint stripes trailer, but got no reply.

As of the upload date on Youtube video within this Chesterfield VA dealership ad, they listed it for sale at their place on April 7th, 9 days ago, with at least a minimum of a $5,995 price hike to it over the prior highest eBay price: https://www.davis4x4.com/vehicle-de...rebody-sedan-bd4a878cb67c35448801de7e7bf0349e
