Hey guys, been bored just thinking of something cool I could do to make my 08 silverado standout a little bit and I think I've come up with a solution.
Ok starting out my 08 is just a work truck with manual windows and locks, vinyl seats, rubber floor etc... It has a pretty solid drive train with a 5.3L 4l60e with 3.73 gears so it's pretty peppy for a new truck. And it's just a standard cab long bed 4x4, summit white and untinted windows. It blends in lol
Okay for the new plans, I've been thinking of buying a 6.2L and a 6 speed auto to put in it. I know it wouldn't be completely bolt in, but I think it'd be fairly easy alignment wise anyway.
The main concern is the gauge cluster, mine has a speedo tach temp and fuel, I'd like the one that has all that plus oil pressure and volts.
Can any of you guys think of any other issues that could arise with this swap
