I have a standard driveshaft from a 71 k5 with a 12 bolt rear. It's 36" long collapsed and extends about 4". One u-joint is feels like its going bad. $10+ shipping

The CV shaft is 28" collapsed and has about 3" (maybe more) of extension. It uses a transfer case flat flange instead of a yoke and has 1310 u-joints. It was built by southbay driveline and has about 2500 miles on it. Sold!

They were both rear shafts and both are 1310.

The cv shaft won't fit any stock truck since it uses the flat flange for the transfer case and is a custom length. You would need to swap a flat output flange on the front output to make it work.

Edit: Also, I guess you could remove the flange portion of the cv shaft and use it on a standard CV yoke.

Still have this standard shaft. I have a sawzall and can make it really short for shipping if someone is going to retube it anyway....:D

If you want the whole shaft, its $25 to ship it to a residential address. That would make it $35 shipped

cutting up the shaft I could ship it flat rate for $25 shipped
