1/2 vs 3/4 vs 1ton frames

are the frames the same thickness?

1/2 and 3/4 are the same but 1 ton is thicker. all crew cab frames are 1 ton frames.

The 1/2 and 3/4 appear the same, but apparently the 3/4 rails are just a tad thicker. The 1ton frame rails are visibly taller than 1/2 and 3/4.

yes...there was a thread on here where several members mic'd their frames & posted up the measurements...iirc, from the data posted...it maybe possible that gm had 4 or 5 different frames that were used as they saw fit to use in ''said'' application
