Is it just me, or are there no brakes on those axles?

I saw that too and I figured he removed the drum brakes that usually come on these axles and used a driveline brake.

The others got it right. Those are 715 axles for the 5/4 kaiser jeep. Weird 6 lug pattern, closed knuckles, coarse spline axleshafts, and drum brakes makes this axle highly undesirable. I don't think there is a way to convert them to open knuckle disk brake setups. And the axleshafts are weak due to some really old metallurgy. I would make him pay me to lug those things away.
