I have looked all over the place, does anyone make tube adaptors for a 1.75" ID tube? I can't find them anywhere, I can find 1.5", 2", etc. Or 1.75" OD is everywhere, but not 1.75" ID. I would like to run 1.0"-14 thread, or 1.25"-12 would work too. Any help/links would be great. Thanks.

It's for DOM, to make suspension links, sometimes called tube inserts. You weld them in the tube to screw a threaded joint in the end.

I would be directly threading the tube because of the intended use.

I can understand what you are trying to get at. Direct threading is stronger and better, which I agree with.
However,

In no way is it needed. Correctly welded tube inserts are REALLY strong. I myself have torn up a good amount of link arms with both direct threaded and tube inserted ends. Neither has shown to be that much better than the other.

Most if not all of the link and coil suspensions systems out there use some sort of tube insert welded in or a bushing type end welded on.

In many cases you don't run tubing that can be threaded directly. For all of our lower link arms we use 2" .250 wall DOM. There is not a way to install a 1.25" shank heim into this size tubing with out a tube insert. We also use a lot of 7/8" shank heims and once again you have to use a tube insert to get there.

To the OP.

What size is your tubing, I know you say 1.75" ID but is it 2" .120 wall for instance. I would think that these should be a fairly normal size.

Brandon, yes, 2"x .120 wall DOM, I was going to use this for the upper links, along with 2"x .250 wall for the lower links, and you are correct, you cannot directly thread it because the ID is too large. I would think it would be common, but I cannot find 2" OD x .120 wall tube adapters. Do you guys make them? I bought a lot of stuff for my truck through ORD, but tube adapters hasn't been one of them so far. The 2"x.250 wall are easy to find, but not the others.

I was planning on running either 1-14 or 1.25-12 threads, I think either will work.

Thanks Eric, after calling ORD, DIY4X, and ballistic, I ended up ordering 4 of those.

I also ordered 8 ballistic joints and jam nuts. (1.25 thread with a 5/8" bolt). Those ballistic joints are the only thing I have ever gotten from there, but I like them because of the adjustability in the preload of the balljoint, and the fact that if they start to get some slop, you can just tighten them up a little. Everything else that I didn't fab up myself on the front came from ORD or DIY4X.

I am still in the measurement and parts gathering process, once I get far enough along in that I'll post some 4link numbers up in my build thread for everyones feedback. I want to have a plan before I tear it all apart here soon. I'm so happy with the front now I just "need" to link the back.

I guess I need to call PSC tomorrow, can't find them on their site

Come on Brian. That's not what he is looking for. Go out to your rolling chassis and look at the link ends. Lol

Try Currie. I know they have a lot of sizes available.

This was a while ago. I ended up ordering them from PSC, but they didn't have them in stock and weren't making them anymore, however, their customer service was great and since I had already ordered them they actually found a new manufacturer for them and sold them to me for the same price plus shipping. Then I changed my mind, I have them in the garage still.
