can i put these on a front axle? and how much can i expect to pay for new u-bolts?

yes you can run them on the front..as for the u-bolts I know they have them but what they cost I don't know. They were $24 from a local spring shop for mine.

There's more info here, do a search. Basically, yes they work on a front, no problem. A new set of ubolts from us is $30.00.
