I was wondering about the DRW axles hub to hub distance. If i'm correct its wider than the SRW 1 tons right? Is there any way to convert that to the SRW width. I'm trying to sell a bunch of crap so I can start on a crewcab shortbox build, but i've found that its hard to find the SRW crews near me. I can however find DRWs all over.

drw to srw on 60 just swap the rotor/hub unit. that easy. drw hub dana 60 is perfect for stock h1 rims to bolt up perfectly.

if non c&c axle then its a dana 70 and a wide axle. will be wider that srw 14ff or c&c 14ff drw axle. swap on 14ff srw hubs and its perfect for stock h1 rims to bolt up perfectly.

I thought about the H1's thing but its mainly gonna be what you guys call a mall crawler plus a DD/tow rig, and the H1s are just UGLY:D

then if the box has the big old fenders on the outside its gona be a wide rear.

and fyi srw hubs dont come up much used . and new 500-600 a set of 2 . so plan correctly.

thanks I wouldnt have thought of the availability of the parts. or price. may have to swap the whole rear axel if i go with a DRW. might be cheaper. I will scrap the box and get a good cond. short box for the swap. I can get a 2wd 75 or 76 drw fro possibly free if i want but its in need of a lot of work. is there any way to put the cab on a 3/4 ton frame and stretch the frame or is that a lot harder that its worth:dunno:

3/4 ton smaller hight frame than 1 ton frame.

easyer to shorten if you ask me.

guys will buy that drw dana 70 that wana run h1 rims.

thats an idea too. alright thanks for the info. If i get my stuff sold soon ill try to find a SRW if i can but it doesnt sound too hard to get what i want out of a DRW. I'll start a thread for it when i find one.

unless I find a sweet burb. then I'll start a thread on one of them instead:rolleyes:

Till then....:thumb:
