1 ton axles with a detroit rear and truetrac front from the factory

some kid i know just got s sweet deal on a set of 1 tons. guy he got them from said they were all stock. pull the covers detroit rear and we are told is a truetrac in the 60. never saw that before. could u order it or something or was it swapped in you think?

My guess is that it was swapped in the front. I know Detoits came stock in the rear.

I thought some of the M1028's or other military truck came with the limited slips in the front. Coulda swore I read there here one time.

Yeppers, that'd be correct. The diff was actually a Trac Lock.

wow not sure what they cost for a detroit and truetrac but 40k on them for 750. he made a out pretty good i would say
