1 ton brakes...

so i found a brake booster and MC out of a 1 ton van, wondering if anyone has used one in their blazer, or if i should just look for one out of a truck. i think there are 4 bolts in the van BB and 6 on my truck, it looks like it might line up..

any ideas? thanks!

why are you planning to go with a larger brake booster. my half ton brake booster can still lock up my 14bff

are you running 4 wheel discs? and 39's?

If you're gonna swap to a better MC and booster I'd swap in hydro-boost and MC from a one ton truck. I do run 40's and 4 wheel disc's...and I have no trouble locking up all 4 tires with the hydro-boost and one ton MC.

the hydro boost setups come in.... the crew cabs and deisels? or anything oneton ?

Hydroboosters....

I think all 1 ton trucks had hydrobost,especially dual rear wheel versions...even 2wd C-30's with 292 sixes had hydroboost brakes,as well as many 1 ton vans and step vans,diesels always use hydroboost because they produce to vacuum for a power booster..I'm not sure if the van and step van setups will work in a blazer or pickup--but the ones from a pickup will fit nearly any similar year/cab style truck..or suburban..
