1-ton calipers

I have a pair of front brake calipers off a 1-ton 2wd. They look the same as the ones on a Dana 60 front. Does anyone know if they are interchangable?

call auto zone, or look on theier web site and check the same year as a 4x4. if the numbers are the same use them.

I tried the 1/2ton setup on my half ton axles, and they fit but the purging area has a hump that will not clear when turning.
I hope the 1ton setup isn't the same.
You could try and see.

If not, you might be able to get some new ones from the parts store and use those as cores. Most parts guys would never notice. New ones with a core should only run about $12 each or so.
