1 ton ff14b swap to sub

will ord part GU38011 allow me to swap a 1ton ff14b if i use the stock 1ton front hangers? or should i move spring perches?

i'll be replacing 89 sub sf14b with a 80 1ton ff14b

does it matter that the ff is from swr 2wd?

anybody else done this?

Why would you change the spring hangers? Just grind the spring pearches on the axle and weld them in the new spot. Buy the bushings for whatever springs you have

You'll need to use the right flip kit for your truck and move the spring perches, if you use the 1-ton flip, you'd have to change the front spring hangers to match and might have other problems with the springs being closer to the frame. Overall it's easier to move the peches and shock mounts.

yeah thats what i was thinking about the perches
but i just found a 3/4 ff14b for $10 so ill prob just use it
