Im gonna be getting the new Sky Manufacturing crossover and hysteer arms that are one piece raised. Are 1 ton TREs the same as the 7/8s TREs that my blazer has stock?? When I search for an '85 K30 TREs on autozone.com it lists ones that will fit my blazer's centerlink/tie rod. 2027l and 2026r are the ones used on my centerlink. Is 2011r the big one?

Also what size TRE is used with the 1104 pitman arm??

Thanks!

Cant wait to cross it up!!! /forums/images/graemlins/peace.gif

Sky says there stuff is tapered for 1 ton TRE's but I am using 7/8" TREs without problems in my Sky steering arm. I am running #2234R TRE's at all my locations, and they are 3/4 ton stuff.

I am using 7/8" TRE in my Ford #1104 arm too.

They are the same AFAIK. I have a dodge D60 and the 1/2-3/4 ton stuff works fine. It is also interchangeble with the 1 ton GM crew cab in my driveway. I think the 1" threads are the real difference. I have bent/crushed threads on the TRE's before shearing occured so that might be the reason for 1 ton stuff, but it was only when seriously abused.
