Found a 1 ton 85' crew cab pick up with 14 ff dana 60 np205 and th400. Will these bolts directly into my 84' 1/2 ton K5? Can I use my old driveshafts?

Hey man, I'm going to ease you into this since you haven't been flammed for it yet, lol. Do a search on this because it's been done countless times. They should bolt in but you're going to have to get conversion u joints to be able to use your drive shafts. If you run into any problems, we'll all be more than willing to help. Good luck and good score! :waytogo:

He'll also need to relocate the spring perches on the 14BFF won't he?

Thats what I was mostly getting at becasue I remember someone saying that but wanted to clarify.. I guess the rear end leaf mounts are in a diffrent spot in the 1 ton and I need to take off and re weld them in the correct spot?

So are you saying the perches dont have to be moved for the front?

D60 will be fine, just 1 ton 14 bolts need the perches modified
See, not to be an ass but that's where the search comes in. I wasn't sure if the 1 ton Subs were the same as the 1 ton p-ups. Hell I figured they would be the same. I knew once I started running off at the mouth, someone with some credible knowledge would chime in! :D:haha:

What about 3/4 ton 14 bolts? What's the difference in the two? I always thought you didn't need to move perches on 3/4 ton 14bff.

I'm 99% sure you dont have to on a 3/4 ton. The springs were just set wider on a 1 ton I believe. That's why the shackle flips are different too right?

Suburbans NEVER came from the factory with 1-tons

They only had the 3/4ton rears on the burbs. Couple places make new spring perches check with diy4x4 and ORD. Plus zero rates would be nice options on where you want to mount.
