Brettt here what year vehicle did the cross member come off? In addition I am looking for the rivited cross member off a 80's Chevy 1 ton . Wondered if you had one?

This one is off of an '86 M1008. Which rivited crossmember are you looking for? I cut most of the frame up and already hauled it off for scrap but I still have the front section with the motor sitting in it right now.

cross member

Cross member I am looking for is between the tranny cross member and the rear differential. It is riveted in between the upper and lower frame flanges. It is near the bend in the frame where it bends up for the bed.

You mean the rear cab mount member?

If you find one let me know I should send a picture the later year models had an extra support.

No not the cab mounts.

Is it the 'member after the rear cab mounts, right under the forward part of the bed?

Yes it sits underneath the forward part of the bed. The early ones were just bolted to the verticle part of the frame. At some point Chevy added more strength to the cross member by bolting and riveting another brace to the existing cross member to the bottom inside flange like my 1986 1 ton 4x4.

You can kinda see it in these pics running in between the forward rear spring hangers:
