Local pickup only. Don't want to deal with the hassles of shipping something this big
As some of you know, I am swapping in a wider G-Van axle into the K10 with an ARB air locker so I have the old axle up for grabs.
The axle originally came out 1976 C20
Width: 67” (hub to hub)
Spring Perches: 42.5”
(A 42.5” spring perch axle is a direct bolt in for a ½ truck, Blazer or Suburban from 1973-1991 & older GM trucks)
The axle is in great shape outside of a bent shock bracket on the LH side. The Pinion Bearing, pinion seal, carrier side bearings are new as of Summer 2015 as well as park brake cables. It has 13” drum brakes with decent shoes and hardware but I would recommend turning the drums and replacing the axle seals as I swapped the backing plates and drums with the axle going into my truck. Figure most people might look at going to a rear disk swap and doing something custom for shock brackets anyway. The Detroit Locker works great and the axle doesn't whine or vibrate
