Yeah I remember I had that problem with my '75.the gears in my crank got chewed up so i have no rear window and its getting colder everyday
Are you guys talking about me? Yes, I did swap out a truck tail gate. I could not believe the weight differance.
That's what I figured. You should take some detailed pics and start a thread about it, I don't think we have one here (I could be wrong) but I know alot of guys here ask that every so often. How difficult was it?
