Hey guys, I have a NEVER-BEEN-USED Mile Marker Hydraulic Winch 10,500 lbs.
This is the military winch used on the HMMWV H1 Hummers. Super strong!
It comes with 100' of 3/8" cable, roller fairlead, NO remote, NO hook.
I have this identical winch on my offroad truck (previously 86 chevy on rockwells and 44" boggers with a cummins, now 2000 GMC on rockwells and 44" boggers) and it is a BEAST. It has literally never let me down. I swear by this winch! It is powerful, continuous (does not overheat), only draws 2 amps (for the remote), uses the stock power steering pump (just add 2 hoses), and is even submersible (will run fine under water or mud)!!

Does it include the Chevy adapter kit?

Does it include the Chevy adapter kit?

Does not come with any adapters. However, When I put this identical winch on my Chevy, CarQuest was able to make the 2 hoses I needed or like 20 bucks.

Also, it is the standard winch bolt pattern and should bolt to almost any winch-ready bumper.

For those of you that were wondering how this hooks up....

The pressure line that goes from your Power Steering Pump to your Gearbox would instead go from the Power Steering Pump to the Winch, then from the Winch to the Gearbox.

Without Winch:
PS Pump----> Gearbox----> back to PS Pump....

With Winch:
PS Pump----> Winch----> Gearbox ----> back to PS Pump....

When the winch is not is use, it is just an open loop from the PS Pump through to the Gearbox...does not affect the steering power at all...

So you can see, all it takes is to get 2 hoses made....I got mine made at NAPA/Carquest for like 20 bucks....

The remote is like 40 bucks from MM, Im thinking about ordering it to help sell the winch.

Anyway...whose in??

Still available!!

I also ordered the 12 volt solenoids, and remote kit to help speed up the sale...all you need is $20 worth of hoses for your application and you will have an unstoppable winch!!!

Someone buy this before I do something stupid.

it would probably be the best move you ever made :thumb:.

I have this same winch on my offroad rig and I will never run anything else. It can freespool out (like most winches) and it has to speeds. High is actually super fast (faster than most electric winches) for spooling in and Low just keeps on pulling. Continuous duty, under water and mud, and only pulls like 4 amps!!!

It is now complete except for the $20 hoses...Shipping is only $90!! Best decision you ever made!!!:woot:
