Well I'm interested in Xover steering for my 10 bolt 8 lug.I know there is a few different ways to do this(at least I think).Have some flat to knuckles drilled and tapped or buy a cast xover arm from Off Road Unlimited. My question is there any xover steer kit I can buy that I could use some of it for a Dana 60 at some later date. Thanks newbie-

IIRC the drag link for a 10 bolt is longer than one for a D60 so you would be able to shorten it and reuse it on a D60 and the only other thing you would have to buy would be the D60 steering arm.

You would need the arm, and a new draglink. The 10 bolt draglink is longer as stated, and you could cut it down, but there would still be a little bit of thread left. So when you go to drill it deeper the threads will get all boogered up. You could cut it in the middle, shorten it,and then sleeve it, or just order a new one.

I got my cross over knuckle from off road unlimited and i believe it uses the same drag link as a 60.

I shortened my draglink from my 10b. I think I took about an inch off each end then went with ES2010L/R TRE's which are short and there was plenty of room to thread them all the way in.

I used a chop saw to get a straight cut and a dremel to smooth the first thread.

I bought all my stuff from Sky Manufacturing.

There is also Norhtwest Fab, Ballistic Fab, Shakerbuilt, Parts Mike, to name a few.
