Does anybody know of anyone cutting 10 bolt diff rings out of 3/8" steel? I need rings cut to make my diff guards that fit over the cover. I'm using solid 3/4" round stock to make them but need rings.

Wouldn't it be cheaper to just buy a 14bSF 6 lug axle and drop it in?? That way you'd get the strength of the modified 10bolt cover and the strength of the heavier gear.

This remotely doesn't even come close to answering his question!

If I wanted to I would just slap a set of 1 tons under it like my other one. This one will only see 33's and mostly road use so I have no intention to swap in other axles plus I have a few friends running 10 bolt fronts that want some diff protection.

I've seen some people just heat round bar to the shapes of the diff cover and weld them directly to the cover. Looks good and beefy. If it see's mostly street use then sould be plenty strong.

Why not just buy one of the Krypto covers from Blue Torch? Those things are not bad in price, super thick and strong.

Because I don't want to and I already have everything but the rings. I prefer to do things myself if possible.

i thought all BTF covers were 1/4"? not exactly "super thick". 0.25 is pretty much avg for an offroad diff cover these days. ;)
