Will a 10 bolt passanger side (right) steering knuckle fit a dana 44? :dunno:

Will the brakes, spindle, axle shafts, ball joints form a Dana 44 change over to a 10 bolt knuckle?

I have a Dana 44 that someone welded a steeering arm to the top of the knuckle and it needs to be replaced. I found several dana 44s at the junk yard but they were all missing the right knuckle.

Thanks for the help:waytogo:

Yes they will interchange easily. Just make sure both sides have the tie rod ends pointing in the same direction as the other.

knuckles will interchange between a 10bolt and d44 (depending on tie rod position above/below knuckle as stated above) along with ball joints, spindles, brakes, stub shafts, etc, but the inner axle shafts are NOT interchangeable. Being that the knuckle will already be removed, I will recommend installing new balljoints at that time anyway to save some effort down the road.

Thanks for the in-put. I already have Moog ball joints and tie rod ends that will be going into the knuckle.
