Well guys the 10 bolt with 3.73's went boom last night. Made a nice hole in the cover. I will get some pics up. So I think I am going with a 14 bolt what will have to be done. Also will it hurt my t-case if I drive it around in 4 wheel drive with the rear drive shaft disconnected. Thanks

Yeah once all the fluid drains out, the t-case might have problems /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif Just kidding of course. If you could get something to plug the rear output shaft hole you could, but assuming you are running the slip yoke 208, it's going to be pretty tough to do.

Yeah I guess I will park it and start looking for a semi floating 14 bolt but I would like to know what I will have to do for it to fit.

you might try cutting the top off of a soda bottle and then duct tape it to the rear housing to keep the fluid from spilling everywhere.

Yes you can drive it in front wheel but you HAVE to plug the rear of the T Case. Some stores sell a "butt plug" that the seal will hold in place. And drive it very softly. The chain makes ALOOOOT of noise otherwise /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

blazingboy,
I don't know that yours is a daily driver or not. I have a 10 bolt with 3.73 gears just been rebuilt, has less then 500 miles on it. Let me know if you are interested in it until you can find a 14 bolt to put in. I am going to be taking out both my front and rear axles within the next 2 weeks. Just got new axles with other goodies for my Jimmy.
