It's the (probably original) open 10 bolt from my 84 Jimmy. Highway gears, I believe they are 2.73s. Right wheel cylinder has a little leakage.

Make offer? I do not know what it's worth.

Location: Aloha, Oregon.

Eventually there will be a matching front axle for sale, but it's still under the truck for the time being.

I assume this only has value as scrap iron. Somebody already left me a sticky note with their phone number offering to get rid of it.

Unfortunately, not worth that much. However there might be that one guy out there looking for that exact part. I wouldn't give up just yet.
When I got my rear 14 bolt from the wrecking yard they took my rear 10 bolt ( which was hurt with chipped ring teeth and a bent housing) as a core and gave me a better deal.
I never thought I would sell my 10 bolt front axle (although it had quite a few upgrades) but the right guy came along with the cash.

2.73 gears are not desirable but you might find someone looking to rebuild and regear an axle before they remove their old one or someone wanting spare axle shafts or brake parts. It should bring $50 or so.

come on some flat lander with a 6.2 diesel and 3.08 gears now needs this for there quest in better mpg on that sucker . . . :deal:

yaa as said 1 of 2 things . someone for spare hard parts or rebuild and just swap over to there rig . . . or scrap most likely in the end .

2.73’s could work with a ls3 and 10speed auto, or cummins and nv4500. Neither of those combos should trust a rear 10b. Probably a complete dog with any other combo.

Agreed with core for someone looking to regear.
