Finishing up the ball joints on the driver's side, packing grease into new bearings, realized I don't know what the torque specs are for the axle nut. Did the search thing, didn't really find anything with a real value, don't have a manual. So what is the torque specs for a 10 bolt front end? Are those values for a spinning reading or a static reading?

Thank you Gentlemen,

Bob

1) Tighten inner nut to 35 ft/lbs (for auto locking hubs) 50 ft/lbs (for manual locking hubs) while rotating hub

2) Back off adjusting nut 1/4 to 3/8 turn for automatic hubs or 1/8 to 1/4 turn for manual hubs

3) Install locking washer (make sure the pin from the inner nut aligns with a hole in the lock washer)

4) Install outer nut and tighten to 160 ft/lbs.
