Any idea where in Colorado I could get a 10 blot spindle on a Sunday? Anyone have one they would like to depart with?

It doesn't have to be a 10 bolt spindle, it can be a D44 spindle as well, it just needs to be a second design spindle.

flip open the phone book and hope you get lucky and find an open junkyard with a 4x4 in the yard that will work.
