i just got a 85 K5 blazer this tuesday and it has a welded rear end, so i got a 14bsf from a 88 1500 pickup at the junk yard thinking it would fit, but it looks like the spring saddles are 5" wider than the 10 bolt thats on the k5.. am i just measuring that bad or will it really not fit?

won't fit without cutting and rewelding spring perches
If I were doing it again, I would buy or make new perches so I could get crude cutting off the old ones. I spent too much time saving the old ones for reuse. You will also have to move the shock mounts. I'm really happy with my swap. I like the wider rear stance.
