10 bolt to D44 gear swap?

Also what to do about the driveshaft putting a 14b SF into my 1/2 ton? Just get the stock 14b SF shaft shortened?

10 bolt and d44 gears will not interchange. all parts from the knuckle out (hubs, spindles, brakes, stub shafts etc) will though.

about the shaft, just get a conversion joint and run your stock shaft. the pinion snout on a 14bsf is not that much longer than a stock 10 or 12 bolt.

however, a 14b shaft shortened will net you bigger u-joints on both ends and a bigger diameter shaft.
