1/2 ton status
I am swapping my 10 bolt for this 14 bolt, now what do I need for the swap? Will my 4" lift blocks and ubolts work? Am I going to need a different u-joint? if so does anyone have a part #. Thanks for the help.

You need different u-bolts , blocks will work . The u-joint was posted in the members section in the part number post /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Stupid question /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif Do I need to do anything to make these brakes work?

Whats it going into? Does it have the u bolts pointing up or down? If there down you can just get u bolt plates off a truck that came with a 14b.

I actually just got some new ubolts and plates from ORD.

Most GM rear brakes will bolt on to your block/brake hose in the rear if you are using the axle complete so that won't be an issue , and I am sure a semi floater will be close enough to work with your stock braking bias . I do not know what to do about E-Brake cables , but maybe yours can be adapted . I am sure someone will chime in on the E-Brake issue /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif

Most GM rear brakes will bolt on to your block/brake hose in the rear if you are using the axle complete so that won't be an issue , and I am sure a semi floater will be close enough to work with your stock braking bias . I do not know what to do about E-Brake cables , but maybe yours can be adapted . I am sure someone will chime in on the E-Brake issue /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif /forums/images/graemlins/k5.gif
