I can't find new ones anywhere for the front axle. GM 10 Bolt 8.5"

Cap size is 1 1/16
Center to center is 1 9/16
The depth of the holes is 1 9/16

There is only one number on the yoke which is 46 and a star on the opposite end

I'll try them out tomorrow but I'm skeptical. I tried dorman ones from AutoZone and they ended up being too short

That looks like a strap style yoke.
Bolts and metal straps.
I got an old one somewhere.
I'll go look.

That looks very similar but I didn't see any threads in mine
Well, it looks aweful rusty in there.
Maybe a bit of WD40 and run your 9mm brass gun bore brush thru there.
Most 10 bolts are bolt and strap style.
Dana 44's had u bolts.
Hey, ill take a pic of my d44 yoke.
Hold on.

Yeppers.
You got you a bolt and strap yoke.
U bolts wont work.
The threads should be there unless someone drilled em out.

This is what a D44 ubolt yoke looks like in 1310 series u joint.
Edit:
Additionally, you can tell because the bolt holes are so far away from the u joint caps.
Also a strap yoke has deeper ears and holds about 2/3 of the u joint cap.
U bolt yokes have the holes right up next to the cap and the ears are more shallow holding only 1/2 of the cap.

front 10 bolts last i recall were different seal than rear 10 bolts and still u-bolt .

might clean her up good and recheck for threads .

and loooong time since i played with a 10 bolt front . i do dana 60's in my 4x4 stuff anymore .

looking at the o.p. yoke again it sure does look like a strap yoke . . . seems weired its on the front . . . but like i said above years since i played with 10bolt fronts .

I can see threads in your picture.
Down deep.
GM didn't start the treads until about 1/2 way down the yoke.
Probably for better bolt stretch to keep em tight.

Hmm well first off thank you for all the replies! I'll clean it out good tomorrow and recheck for threads. I can see what K5wrench said I didn't even notice lol good thing is a friend of mine has a pair of straps that'll fit perfectly in case it is a bolt and strap type

I have not seen a 10 bolt front with u bolt.
I just bought the straps for mine yesterday from the local driveshaft place.

I ran a tap through all the holes and a whole lot of crud came out so ill be getting a couple straps and bolts fron AutoZone this afternoon
