Wanna put a 10" sub box between the seats. Anyone have any pics or suggestions dim? ported? I posted here cause doesnt seem to b much traffic in audio. Thx.

the center console in my burb thread (in my sig) would easily be able to be converted to a 10" box. actually a 12" if you wanted. its all in like the last 10 pages. as for box specs/ dimensions it will depend on the speaker you chose.

Guessing you are going console cause its a single cab truck?

Actually it's a 90Jimmy. Original plan was a simple upgrade with good quality speakers. 6" in doors and 6x9's in rear. As i did some research I found guys that have put a sub box between seats.

I have a tall sub box between my seats in my 1990 K5. It was in my 1985 originally. It has a 12" sub in it, and I love it, because it is tall enough to use as an arm rest, compared to the silly stock one.

Are you desperately going to miss the cargo space from a sealed 12 box in the trunk?

I seem to not be satisfied with how low a 10 will play.

Mount an amp behind the spare, put a good 12 in a sealed box, and continue to enjoy your stock console.

No longer a member, so no pic to post, but message me a number and ill send a pic of my 10" mounted in the space behind the driver side wheel well. I've got 6 1/4 front, 6x9 rear, 3" under the dash pad and the 10" sub. This does not interfere with any of my space
