I spent so much damn time on it, almost a day and a half, that you guys need to guess

Really, if you guess right before I post the follow up pics,I'll paypal you $10.

It's the little things that make your K5 so big

I know, but I cheated, haha. Doubt anyone will guess it.

the size is deceiving, nice idea. I was thinking of something along those lines today. Not the actual bracket, but the usage.

Since I see many resourceful people hitting my website looking for pictures, I guess I'll end the suspense....

It's my winch and air connector for the front bumper, it got welded to the back of the bumper and pokes out just a bit. Both the air and winch/jump connector have sealed rubber boot covers too...

I had to hack up Kerts front bumper he made for me to fit it in there, but I had planned on doing that all along.

Here's my rear one with additional 7pin trailer connector:

Looks nice that bracket you built looked a lot bigger with nothing in it then it did once you put the air chuck in it.

how much room is there to get your hand in and unhook the air line? Are you going to use any kind of plug for the air chuck and winch power source to keep crap out of them?

with that sticking out, i can see it getting smashed. at least if it was on my truck.

There's sealed covers for both the winch and air connectors.

The rear is flush with bumper and the front pokes out just a wee bit. There's plenty of room to get your hand in there for the air chuck. I tested that. Front's a little tighter than the rear for that though.
Yeah I thought about the getting smashed thing, I might put a hinged plate cover over the whole opening. I'm not sure yet. Kinda like a robust flip down license plate holder, something like that.

Hinged cover might be a good idea Ken.

Just changing a tire at Tellico the other weekend was a bitch because the wheel was packed solid with mud! Had to use a shovel and then a screwdriver to dig down to my lug nuts............I'd have gotten a pic, but it was 5:00 AM.........0500 Hrs, and we had been at it all night with out a break..............anyway great, absolutely great job, and very unique also!!! :wink1:
